I've been applying to other companies, but whenever I bring up sponsorship (in screening calls), I immediately get rejected. No one even wants to evaluate international students fairly anymore. I have also been working hard on my skills. But considering the bleak scenario for international students (weighted lottery + bad job market), I am wondering if it's even worth it to work hard on skills.
