BJP Ends CPI’s 45-Year Streak, Wins Kerala Capital’s Corporation For the first time in Kerala’s political history, the BJP-led NDA has registered a victory in the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation, ending the CPI(M)-led LDF’s long-standing power for over 45 years in the state capital. The BJP-led NDA won 50 seats in the 101-member Thiruvananthapuram municipal body. The ruling LDF secured 29 seats, while the Congress-led UDF managed to win just 19 seats. Two seats went to Independents. Eluri Sambasiva Rao: ఒక్కరోజు ధాన్యం కొనుగోళ్లలో రికార్డు సృష్టించిన కూటమి సర్కారు 13-12-2025 Sat 19:53 | Andhra ఒక్కరోజే 1.46 లక్షల టన్నుల ధాన్యం కొనుగోలు 24 గంటల్లోనే రైతులకు చెల్లింపులు చేస్తున్నామన్న ప్రభుత్వం వైసీపీ హయాంలోని రూ.1,674 కోట్ల బకాయిలు క్లియర్ పండ్లు, చేపల ఉత్పత్తిలో ఏపీకి దేశంలోనే అగ్రస్థానం గత ప్రభుత్వంలో రైతులు తీవ్రంగా నష్టపోయారన్న ఎమ్మెల్యే ఏలూరి రాష్ట్రంలో ధాన్యం కొనుగోళ్ల ప్రక్రియను వేగవంతం చేసిన కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం, ఒక్కరోజులోనే రికార్డు స్థాయిలో ధాన్యం సేకరించిందని పర్చూరు టీడీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యే ఏలూరి సాంబశివరావు తెలిపారు. శనివారం ఆయన మంగళగిరిలో విడుదల చేసిన పత్రికా ప్రకటనలో, ధాన్యం విక్రయించిన రైతులకు కేవలం 24 గంటల్లోనే వారి ఖాతాల్లో నగదు జమ చేస్తున్నామని, తద్వారా వారికి ఆర్థిక భరోసా కల్పిస్తున్నామని పేర్కొన్నారు. గత వైసీపీ ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్న రూ.1,674 కోట్ల బకాయిలను కూడా తమ ప్రభుత్వం పూర్తిగా చెల్లించిందని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు. కొనుగోళ్లలో పారదర్శకత, వేగం 2025–26 ఖరీఫ్ సీజన్‌లో భాగంగా రైతుల నుంచి రూ.12,200 కోట్ల విలువైన 51 లక్షల మెట్రిక్ టన్నుల ధాన్యాన్ని సేకరించడమే లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నట్లు ఏలూరి వివరించారు. ఇప్పటివరకు 3.24 లక్షల మంది రైతుల నుంచి 20.64 లక్షల మెట్రిక్ టన్నుల ధాన్యాన్ని సేకరించి, రూ.4,609 కోట్లను నేరుగా వారి ఖాతాల్లో జమ చేశామని తెలిపారు. ఒక్కరోజే 1.46 లక్షల మెట్రిక్ టన్నుల ధాన్యం కొనుగోలు చేసి రికార్డు సృష్టించామన్నారు. దళారుల ప్రమేయం లేకుండా, రైతులు మోసపోకుండా ఉండేందుకు ఆర్టిఫిషియల్ ఇంటెలిజెన్స్ ఆధారిత సేవలను కూడా అందుబాటులోకి తెచ్చినట్లు చెప్పారు. ధాన్యం అమ్మాలనుకునే రైతులు 73373-59375 నంబర్‌కు ‘హాయ్’ అని సందేశం పంపితే పూర్తి వివరాలు వాయిస్ మార్గదర్శకం ద్వారా తెలుసుకోవచ్చని సూచించారు. గత ప్రభుత్వంపై తీవ్ర విమర్శలు ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏలూరి సాంబశివరావు గత వైసీపీ ప్రభుత్వంపై తీవ్రస్థాయిలో విమర్శలు గుప్పించారు. జగన్ రెడ్డి పాలనలో వ్యవసాయ రంగాన్ని పూర్తిగా నిర్వీర్యం చేశారని, ధాన్యం కొనుగోళ్లలో దళారులదే రాజ్యంగా మారిందని ఆరోపించారు. 2023-24లో రెండు సీజన్లు కలిపి కేవలం 43 లక్షల టన్నుల ధాన్యం మాత్రమే కొనుగోలు చేసి, నెలల తరబడి డబ్బులు చెల్లించకుండా రైతులను తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులకు గురిచేశారని విమర్శించారు. వైసీపీ పాలనలో రైతు ఆత్మహత్యల్లో ఏపీ దేశంలో మూడో స్థానానికి, కౌలు రైతుల ఆత్మహత్యల్లో రెండో స్థానానికి చేరిందని రైతు సంఘాల నివేదికలను ఉటంకించారు. రైతు సంక్షేమమే లక్ష్యం చంద్రబాబు నేతృత్వంలోని ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన వెంటనే రైతు సంక్షేమానికి పెద్దపీట వేసిందని ఏలూరి అన్నారు. ‘అన్నదాత సుఖీభవ’ పథకం కింద రెండు విడతల్లో 46 లక్షల మంది రైతులకు రూ.6,310 కోట్లు జమ చేశామని గుర్తుచేశారు. మామిడి, పొగాకు, మిర్చి, టమాటా వంటి పంటలకు మద్దతు ధర కల్పించేందుకు రూ.850 కోట్లు కేటాయించామన్నారు. రిజర్వ్ బ్యాంక్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా గణాంకాల ప్రకారం పండ్లు (1.93 కోట్ల టన్నులు), చేపల (51.58 లక్షల టన్నులు) ఉత్పత్తిలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ దేశంలోనే ప్రథమ స్థానంలో నిలవడం రాష్ట్ర వ్యవసాయ రంగ పటిష్టతకు నిదర్శనమని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. ఉత్పత్తి నుంచి గిట్టుబాటు ధర, ఆర్థిక భరోసా వరకు ప్రతి దశలోనూ రైతుకు అండగా నిలవడమే తమ ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని ఏలూరి సాంబశివరావు స్పష్టం చేశారు.
