Yes these planes take a lot of time to buy and be delivered. What happened since 2014? Why BJP Govt 1999-2004 could not start at least? Whats the current status now? Decision to buy Rafale jets was taken in 2015. How many were ordered, how many were delivered? How many are in pipeline? Its good that Modi Gov has just now pushed for defense deal with Russia. What happened in last decade? It will take another 10-15 years for Su-57 delivery with Tech Transfer. Why did not Modi Gov initiate procurement of 5th Gen fighters from 2014?
