It is Reddys who control Hyderabad businesses . 70 percent of real estate projects in every part of the city are Reddys - rajapushpa builders , aparna builders , GAR , Ramky , smr , dsr , espl , candeur constructions , vamsiram group , Indis group , aurobindo realty , hallmark , raghava etc . They own 80 percent of engineering colleges in Hyderabad . Even in the dollar billionaires based out of Hyderabad , 70 percent are Reddys . With Telangana formation , they are totally taking control of all new real estate and contracts . Hyderabad and its surrounding regions like Rangareddy , Chevella , Bhongir , Shadnagar , Sangareddy etc . are all traditionally reddy dominant areas , with heavy presence of reddy landlords .
