Anna, what you are saying is anecdotal example among just your circle. But reality is in numbers. If India is so good then numbers will reverse on its own. But for now the numbers show ppl are ready to jump from India given a chance though it will continue to get better as India also becomes a middle income country. Till the below numbers adjust, more ppl will be leaving india. Of course rich ppl above the per capita will stay in India. Its just human nature. Indicator (2025 Projections) United States India Ratio (US vs. India) Nominal GDP per Capita ~$89,678 ~$2,937 30.5 : 1 GDP per Capita (PPP) ~$89,678 ~$12,100 7.4 : 1 Projected GDP Growth Rate 2.8% 6.6% -

Seen this post in reditt forum What's the point of doing anything anymore? About me: Graduated with a Master's degree in AI in May this year. Working at a small firm in the Midwest. Lucky to have a job. After the weighted lottery system gets implemented, I'll fall in the level 1 category (1 ticket). It essentially means I am not going to get the H-1B visa next year. I've been applying to other companies, but whenever I bring up sponsorship (in screening calls), I immediately get rejected. No one even wants to evaluate international students fairly anymore. I have also been working hard on my skills. But considering the bleak scenario for international students (weighted lottery + bad job market), I am wondering if it's even worth it to work hard on skills. Is anyone having similar thoughts at the moment? Would love to know how you are trying to cope.

Another big lie : CBN told KIMS came forward to take over Adoni Medical College. Fact : KIMS clarified that they did not even participate in tenders so no question of privatizing Adoni Medical College. Ie abadhalu seppe rogam endi ra ayya meeku….Cabinet meetings la abadhalu endi ra ayya ? -

Its called FOMO. Andaru pothunnaru manamu povali....one thing is for sure. No one is going back unless forced to do so. As always exceptions come from top university grads and rich kids with lavish spending ability. Rest others are staying here no matter what. I have "heard" this, "inko 5 years sampadinchukoni India dobbestham" far too many times. Everyone who gave this statement is here for the past decade plus on H1B. -

Its your cynical Indian aunty mindset at work. If someone is supporting something, they are utilizing it. Selflessness is a foreign to such thinking. My main way of thinking is logic. If it is logical I will support. Fyi I have mentioned many times that I am in the process of leaving. -

When I graduated, my dream salary was 10000Rs and then when I came to US, starting salary was around 70k. You can buy acres of land in India with that money. There was no h1b lottery and lots of hope to get GC in 5-6 years. It took much longer though. There were no product companies in India during that time. Lot of students used to get scholarship as well for masters education and there were many cheap colleges. But for the kids coming now, what hope or advantage against India do they have? You can talk about faang salaries but if you are that good, you can get very good packages in India itself. So, why should the middle class come to US? -
Next growth center… When ever we experience a steep growth, lower economic regions tend to capture the maximum growth. South Bihar matram kastame…vallu inka animal fat degare vunnaru
