I had a "reckless driving' citation which got reduced to "improper driving" at the court. The N400 clearly asks if you ever received a citation at any time - so my answer was pretty clearly YES since I did receive a citation. Now, by the time I attended the citizenship interview this improper driving citation was removed from my driving record since I had taken some defensive driving classes. On the day of the interview - the officer asked me if I had any citations on my record and my initial answer was "NO" and that was the correct statement since as of that day of the interview - I had no record of any citations.
