That is beside the point. Right to vote is a constitutional right. Indian citizen. They should be able to choose based on address proof. Afterall, they get only one vote. Why are they not accepting passport for citizenship status and some other document such as registration document or some utility bill together to establish jurisdiction? There is a definite founder for a city ,names may change for that jurisdiction but you cant claim some random village or settlement existed in some xx period. For example constantinople was founded by greeks but its name got changed to Istanbul ,still the founders of the city will be greeks. There might be random villages by some people before that but that won't be considered as they weren't cities officially founded by rulers and grew continuously from there.

I do investing and options swing/long term trading. Worked out pretty good for me. Pick stocks that have good fundamentals, hone your technical skills to find the direction, buy options in that direction. You gotta understand Greeks, IV, Bullish/Bearish slowness, analyze data and then trade. I am putting together a model for myself to analyze this data and make decision making easy. Otherwise there are plenty of good subscriptions where you can make sense of the data like unisualwhales and TradingView.
