If a country is producing something, they put tariffs to ban imports.. not talking about something they are not producing.. they have to import them anyway for eg: India imposes 100% tariffs on foreign motor cycles as they have lot of domestic production and India even imports to other countries.. that’s why Harley’s cost more than many cars in India
