Given he is a cousin of defendant and defendant is closely associated with YSRCP, wouldn’t this put enormous pressure on the victims family in India to not help DA in this case and eventually withdraw from the case?

on the flip side if DA gets to know that defendant is trying to influence the case he would never see the sunlight given he didn’t get bail and also charged with 7 felony charges.

wait and watch… they’ll uncover money laundering and wire fraud which carry more weight than these charges. He’ll never come outside

He will probably want to go back to his home and to his family.. GC is not everything for everyone.. it will be very difficult to be here all alone when he is so traumatized..
