Urgent: Authentication issue

From my small limited company in the UK, I have raised an invoice on Stripe for an US based client for developing their web site.

But on my WhatsApp account, I have received the same payment link I sent to my client from an unknown person based in Dublin, Ireland.

My client is saying they never sent that link to any unauthorized person. The client is a small hotel chain business in USA whose content management system is developed by me.

What should I do now? Should I raise this issue with Stripe. That unknown person sending messages that he has 100s of clients who can pay the money on the link I create.

Its not a huge money but the client pays enough to keep up with my expenses in UK, the job is to maintain token management, prepare stock list, helping their accountant with reports etc
