Thummala by nature is less corrupt compared to others , especially the likes of Ajay. He doesn't operate businesses and confines himself to agriculture lands. He holds a lot of agricultural land, and RE properties but that's it.  As far as I know, he takes fixed commissions or gifts for contracts but he doesn't actively involve in land Kabjas, mining and sand and soil contracts kind of activities like Puvvada. Talk is that Puvvada minted over 2500 cr during from these activities during his terms as a minister. The soil he dug alone was worth over 150 crores. Then there are land Kabjas, stone mining from hills which are worth to the tune of thousands of crores.

Thummala problem is his noti dhoola. He doesn't care whether it's an officer or other leader he simply uses words like 'ne pellam **ku lo na $ull1 ' without even thinking twice. But that's how people from village background are. He has shown some restraint before election , will see how heis during his term as minister.
