Until 1983 it was reddy after reddy. As soon as NTR came - the biggest cry about his caste came from reddies who lost power. As soon as NTR lost power - four reddies became CM. Again in 2019 the poltiical posts are almost completely filled with reddies. Quote

Major differences : a) Feudals dont work and dont even manage but earn though others work - like vetti chakiri. But market oriented upper castes actually cultivate the lands very actively. b) Political power is fundamental to feudals they dont see point of acquring actual skills such as say media, business, pharma. Because the best power is when you can control others bodies. This is rampant in telangana and rayalaseema. Fair enough. But why SCs loyal to Congress if it’s dominated by said feudal parties. Quote

There are feudal castes in these jillas? Krishna doesn't have majority of kammas ,they are very less in number in krishna compared to guntur and prakasham. Krishna has kapu majority. Kapus are not a feudal caste ,only a small amount of them were feudals. Also godavari has very less kammas and rajus. its more of a correlation than a causation ,I am assuming because even non-oc's in rich areas like godavari,Nellore, krishna districts were progressive. Kammas still powerful in Krishna jilla despite less population. Guntur and Prakasam definitely have some feudal elements in them. Quote

Since 2000, we don’t really have loyal vote banks anymore, it shifts every election. Being Congress votebank has benefitted them. In TN, Congress protect SCs and even punished dominant landed castes who tortured them. Unfortunately, SCs fell for MGR cinema glamour and ditched Congress to vote Dravidian parties. But the landed castes got all the power in Dravidian rule. Now the SCs suffer at landed castes mercy. Quote
