Very easy to see. If you are in US for 10 yrs, you must be making at least 75-100% more than what you made when u came here. Did it make any changes in your lifestyle? Not much. May be ...

Small house -> bigger house,

$20 clothes -> $50 - $100 clothes. 

Same grocery, costco shopping. Electronics dont cost much and pretty much everyone has everything.
