Hitech city ki right opposite, NIFT venakala lands….gurukul society and ayyappa trust lands ani almost 500 acres of land acquired and sold for plots way back in the late 80’s. But legality issues vunde, assigned lands, no clear paper work, like many other properties.

1986 lo when Bangalore was identified as electronics hub and Hyderabad as hardware hub, land was acquired to set up what is now called as hitech city. Anticipating demand, realtors acquired land next to hitech city and sold plots back in the 87-88 time.Come 1998 and after CBN developed Hyd, NIFT and Wipro campus, ie lands ki giraki vachindi and Apatike double registrations, no clear title, owner evado telvadu and almost every big politician somehow bought a plot here. Minimum plot size is 500-600 yards and big guys bought multiple plots. Value per avagane started court cases, municipal cases, water supply lekapovadam, amenities lekapovadam Etc and GHMC started collecting property tax…

CBN time lo plot owners came forward to pay fines and regularize the layout but term ayipoinde…YSR time la final agreement out of court settlement chesinaru to pay 13k/yard as fine and regularise the layout as a whole instead of individual plots. But one fine day YSR helicopter ekkindu kani diga ledu..2014 la KCR said he will regularize sestha annadu kani pending court cases valla mundalki vellaledu and some Andhra plot owners were not in favor of the terms set by KCR and did not want to settle the case out of court. anduke 2014-2015 time la bull dozers diginayi ie venture lo…AP and TG la almost andari MP and MLA’s have interest in these two societies..

It dates back to Nizam times, a Marwadi guy by  name Badrinath donated 675 acres of land as charity to the Ghatkesar Gurukul trust in 1951, one of its subsequent trustees obtained an exemption under the Urban Land Ceiling (ULC) Act and started selling the land for nominal prices. Swamy Ayyappa Society got 71 acres this way. In 1998, the then regime issued orders converting this area into a residential area but later declared that all the transactions effected prior to 1987 were illegal.

IGurukul Trust was granted exemption for the trust under the Urban Land Ceiling Act so that the trust could continue to be the owner of 600+ acres in spite of ULC Act. Then there were allegations that the land are being sold away. After some time, the government withdrew the exemption granted earlier.

Due to this order the excess land owned by Gurukul trust cane under the ULC Act and vested with the government. The occupiers, persons and institutions that purchased these land approached the government for regularisation.

Deeni taruvata trust and government fought in the courts,2012 lo Gurukul society case gelchindi and all the lands belongs to trust ani judgement vachindi. 2015 malla court judgement held upheld chesindi with an exception that who have bought from the trust to be regularized but all others government kali cheyanchali…so adi lolli, so matter enti ante ippudu Ada 5000 buildings vachinavi, illegal evvadu legal evvadu telvadu..nijamgane illegal vi kulkottina drama survu chestaru.

I keep hearing the same about ayyappa society. I know where it is. My relatives have land nearby (not in ayyappa) and I know the area very well. 

Everytime govt changes, I keep hearing about illegal construction in ayyappa society.

Assigned lands are big headache.. ppl will neva win those cases

I remember after 2014 elections , Kavitha akka entered scene started negotiations but they did not budge and demolition was ordered.
