Remember the uncles who paused investing in stock market they invested in real estate and got 100% profit. While S&P only gave you 30% .

aa uncles will get back into stock market again in 2025 recession, prior to that they will unload their real estate portfolio in 2024 for Bakara’s who are eager for 5.5% interest rates

true, I almost doubled my Indian investment in 5 years but after rupee value went down, the gains are almost nothing in USD. on top of that it’s the lost opportunity cost, which if invested in US RE/stocks would have increased many more times.
