Resale of townhome is easy compared to SFH. If the townhome is in good locality and good school location either you can rent it out or investment kosam kone vallu line lo untaru irrespective of housing market and interest rates. This is based on charlotte experience.

Usually HOA will be high for townhomes 

 if you plan to stay long term look for sfh as overall sfh are always better

If you plan to rent it out in future, ensure that the HOA is reasonable, home is not very old and is in good school zone

 for starter homes, it will be a good choice if you plan for the things I mentioned above

can you suggest some localties in charlotte where we can buy a townhouse or condo

for the same price, within the city i'm getting townhome and SFH bit far from everything.

this will be first home, leaning towards townhome

currently in SFH, school district baledu and kids will start going to school in 1 year. Frisco prosper edi muttina more than 600k
