What I heard is my homes villa was 2 crores 4 years back and now it is 6 crores

Also 4 yrs back $ to rs conversion was around 60 .. now its 80+. considering you have to pay taxes in India and remaining if any in US after getting back, gains do not look that great.

you get much better rental yield here in US

If you are investing in India, you have to choose between low yields and high appreciation, choose what your goal is

properties have high appreciation but low rental yields

US lo properties have low appreciation (except the covid hype) and medium rental yields

On the other hand, if you have reliable and active family and plan to settle in India in longer run then real estate is still the best despite low yields as wealth building will be unparalleled compared to anywhere

Moving out of India doesn't mean .. growth is not there.. it might be because they want to get promoted... You know right ... Intlo tipi kanna pakkainti pulla kooda istamm

Probably. I did not look it up. Just guessed. Still it’s a hassle to get money back here.
it’s a great investment for people who want to go back.
