I Was gonna say the same. We recently got the rice from Costco (we get same brand everytime. Royal). But the quality is inferior. Rice is horrible. Price is same though. 

Not sure about the reason though. I see prices being same in Costco and other indian stores nearby

Didn’t see any difference.. we don’t eat a lot of sonamasoori rice though and not very particular about the different brands or types of rice.. 😄
