Got 5 calls that they started their own TAX-filling business and have my details from old client, Be careful out there, I did not even file with them last time just got a quote without giving any details of SSN.     Not sure how much data desi tax filing guys will take with them when they leave the company.

In US, there is lot of care taken when you are handling sensitive information.. ma company lo hell lot of audits and reviews untaayi PII information process cheyyadaniki.. na previous company billions of dollars pay chesindi data leak ayyindani.. 

I find it very funny and also ridiculous that we give away all our personal and financial information including SSN, W2’s etc to some unknown person who called us over phone from India, just to save $50 or so.. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

That's why I always file my taxes. Anyways mine are simple with no India properties or Real estate here. 

Just salary, standard deductions and stocks ..

They dont have ethics. They can easily note down the details and sell for a price.

10-15 yrs back there was a well known documentary about Indian BPOs and how they capture and sell PII data of customers in spite of strict measures employed by BPOs. They sell it for a good price. Its very easy in India. I think its easy everywhere. Ethics matter a lot in this space and need to have strict laws.

Thats what I use now. Its very easy to use. I used to use TaxAct before until it got acquired by some big company and became too commercial.
