It's possible that Propranolol is being used 'off-label' i.e., it's not originally approved for it's specific use, in your case infant hemangioma. After digging a bit into research publications, I see topical treatment with beta blockers as well (vs systemic administration) i.e., applying a beta blocker directly to the hemangioma surface(say Propranolol cream/timolol  cream, suspension, drops gel etc.) vs systemic administration giving beta blockers orally (tablets etc.). Topical route although will have some systemic absorption it's not to the extent of direct systemic administration, therefore less side effects . Have you discussed topical route of administration as a possibility with your doctor ?

papa ki hand midha came.. around 2 yrs ala drops used while sleeping...now its gone by itseld..docs said it will.go away in 3 to 4 yrs
