only Non QA folks say QA is gone . a good sdet demands a very good salary , atleast 90% of what developer is making at a level.

even manual testing kuppalu kuppalu unnai , even though it is difficult to get them on h1b 

but good sdets are very tough to get .

p. s: a developer writing functional tests it not a common occurrence and believe 80 percent of time dev can't write functional automation high quality tests . the senior ones usually do , but the mid level and junior devs are meh...

You can pick java or Go or phython and do backend API developement along with that try to learn one cloud tech can be AWS or Azure or GCP , try to learn contenerization Docker etc with kubernetes or ecs etc , so be like backend developer with devops , unless you want to be full stack with Angular or react (this is little deep you have to start with java script fundas and go there) Good luck anna
