The IPL auction held in Goa has seen bidders placing huge amounts for top cricketers. England cricketers Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff were auctioned for Rs. 7.5 crores each. It was a feat the broke the record of Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who was bid for Rs. 6 crore last year. Industry captains and film stars participated in the auction amid much fanfare. The presence of glamour stars Priety Zinta, Shilpa Shetty and Juhi Chawla brought additional attraction to the event.The auction was held in Panaji, the capital of Goa. Quote
