so this ~$4 monthly still better than HYSA or CD's? 

I know HYSA's have state tax on this gained interest rate (if you live in those states).

cd-s have a lock in period- tats the disadvantage, neeku money voddhu anukunte , u can lock it .. but mostly 6mon-one year untayi abd intrst varies with timeperiod.

HYSA- is good option , no lockin.. for now capitalone/ sofi/betterment  etc offering good rate but .. they are all online banking so do ur research  !!

Fidelity has a good yield on the below ticker. I have my money in that and the returns are good.

PTR/100 = 1000 * 1/12 * 5.5/100 = 5500/1200 = 4.58

So we get 1000$ bond for 995.52$
