Internet spoiling Reddy, Kamma & Kapu youth

Caste is one of the most useless reminiscent of the Hindu religion. Even if one converts to other religions like Christianity, there still exists castism!

For example a large number of Reddys, Kammas and Kapus have converted to Christianity in the palnadu(narsaraopeta-piduguralla-macherla) area of the Guntur district.

But even after the conversion, they still prefer to marry from their own caste! So this means that even Christianity does not bring equality!

Now coming to the topic, one news channel today brought forward the issue of student gangs in the city of Vijayawada. And most of these gangs are caste based.

Probably the TV channel might have realized this only now, but this issue has been going on since the past many years with the rising popularity of social networking sites like Orkut, Facebook etc.

And most of the students from the Reddy, Kamma and Kapu use these sites to spread hatred against each other!

All it requires is one stupid student to comment on another person based on caste and the counters from opposite and the saga goes on.

Incidentally it has come to light that some people pose as persons from one caste and tries to create rift between other castes!

For example, a Reddy poses himself as a Kapu and slams Kammas to create rift between kammas and Kapus. A Kapu poses himself as Kamma and slams the Reddys or a Kamma posing as a Kapu against Reddys!

And the passions rise! Today when the news channel asked the students to explain the factors for their rising hatred against each other based on caste, not surprisingly they said that one of the main reason are the social networking sites like Orkut, Facebook etc!

Incidentally many engineering college students from Vizag to Tirupathi go for picnics as one caste group. For example the Kammas and Kapus conduct their own parties or gettogethers in some colleges in the Krishna and Guntur districts. In Kurnool Medical College, the Reddys conduct their own Reddy gatherings. The list goes on and on.

Only one hopes that the students concentrate only on studies and not on the silly dubious fights in the social networking sites or the caste based students infightings on the streets of Vijayawada. Students should realize that their parents and education is at stake and participating in these criminal activities will only cause blot on their life. The students should know that they are being used by the selfish leaders as pawns only to further their political careers.
