Bay Area Storm.....

NorCal residents are preparing for a fierce storm to ravage the Bay Area with floods and extremely windy conditions. The midlatitude cyclone will be far more intense than originally forecasted, The National Weather service warns, with winds of up to 80 miles per hour and four inches of rain. Expected to approach California on Saturday night and rapidly strengthen going into Sunday, the storm poses serious flooding risks to the Bay Area. The strong storm will emerge from the Southwest, an unusual direction for storms but more common during El Niño years. This coming cyclone will be similar to the devastating storm that terrorized the Bay Area on March 21, 2023, and led to widespread devastation in the region.
