Last year wented to India anna, wife had a 70 gm necklace in Hand bag and 60 gm bangles on hands& 20gm neck chain worn. I didn't wear any gold. 

they didn't ask anything.

allowance/limits anedhi books lone untadhi, chala low allowed undahi.

If its like more than 50-70gm over all and if they stop you it all depends on how you negotiate and pay something.. 

if is too high like more than 200gm, 300gm, then next s*m*u*gg*ling category loki ostadhi
