unless bjp becomes very weak like it was during vajpayee era, local parties don’t have a say in any important matters.. they just have to be nice to them and hope they get some benefits… 

a strong central govt is not good for local parties..

Not much.. if bending is common.. 😄

it actually makes sense for bjp to have an pre election tie up (either with ysrcp or tdp or any other local party in any state where they don’t have much presence) as they will get at least 3-5 mp’s… post poll tie up lo, vallaki em labham ledu.. they are at the other party’s mercy.. they have to use carrot and stick like they did with ysrcp and tdp..
