Suggestion on best fund to invest for long term

Hi,

recently Okka callable CD maturity ayindi and wanted to use that funds to invest in good equity mutual fund for long term, can anyone suggest few good ones that I can buy through Charles Schwab?  Also is it wise to put all at once or to split the amount in equal parts and invest in the fund every month?
