Congress is the one who discussed the option of 'special status' but no one ever promised any kind of status while they were in power.

I think people have a wrong understanding of state govts and central govts. 

BENDING ane concept okati patukunaru...tummina daggina bending antaru..

States in India have very less powers, state budget la service and expenditure teesi dobbithe musti 30% migultadi...emi chestaru vaa ie 30% tho ? Amaravati kadtara ? 

India la states are mere implementing partners of central government...power is massively cenralized..on any given day, states depend on Centre for any additional help. 

May be USA la state's independence chusi India la kuda states atlane vunayi anukuntunaremo...
