He bought house in Austin Tx and asking suggestion on going back to India and claimed his expenses are getting out of control with managing 2 kids here. He and his wife both work in a very reputed companies and make around $250k per year. - Bought home in Austin for $750k last year and Monthly Mortgage Payment - $4800 - Owning Tesla Model Y with Monthly Auto Payment - $1200 - First Kid - Elementary school - Monthly extra curricular activities (Dance, Swimming, Kung fu, Tutoring expenses) - $300 - Second Kid - Monthly Day Care expense - $1200 - Car Insurance Payments (Monthly) for 2 cars - $180 - Grocery Bills(Costco, Indian Groceries) - $500 - Shopping (Clothes, household stuff) - $500 - Phone, Internet, Utility, Power, Gas - $500 - $800 can vary by season - Vacation expenses (Quarterly) - $2000 - $5000 minimum Total aggregate expenses are around $10k -$11k per month which offsets the Monthly pay check and his concern is about savings. He actually owns his own paid off apartment in a Gated community in India and claiming he can save more in India if he and his wife work as expenses are low in India.
