HPV vaccine: What age is too late?

All males and females ages 9–26 should get the HPV vaccine. It is most effective when given at ages 11–12. Unvaccinated men and women ages 27–45 should talk to their doctor about the benefits of the vaccine.

The CDC recommends all boys and girls get the HPV vaccine between the ages of 11 and 12, the age for optimal protection. They should get two shots, six to 12 months apart.

“Vaccines given to 14 or 15 year olds are late and less effective,” Ramondetta says.

In fact, patients 15 and older should receive three shots over the course of six months to receive the same benefit.

India la around 2K rs anta kaka.. at present Insurance coverage ledu , Just recent ga only awareness campaign shuru chesindru.. even though vaccine came long back...  Maa cousin okadu vesukunindu (after poonam's death 😀)

This vaccine is NOT for those who already had sex...may be there's an exception for someone with a single partner or wife. This is not for those who had sex with mulitple partners.

India lo vaccines insurance lo cover kakapoyina, cost of getting one is low kada bro. chala vaccine 2000 rupee lopalane untayi, unless some rare condition vaccines. Rare condition vaccines India lo in case one or 2 lakhs cost ayithe, inka US that particular one might cost fortune cheppalante. .

and insurance will cover for most . USA lo eeyte must. Kiss chesina HPV transmit avutadi .. most of the throat cancers because of HPV.
