Arrogant_champ Posted February 18, 2024 Report Posted February 18, 2024 Drones have batteries and drones crash. Maybe they are afraid that'll cause wild fires. IDK just a wild guess. It's relatively easy to crash drone with trees and branches around. Quote

niladisify Posted February 18, 2024 Report Posted February 18, 2024 According to copilot, drones are not allowed in national parks because they can disturb the wildlife, create noise pollution, pose safety risks, and interfere with other visitors’ enjoyment of the natural scenery. The National Park Service has a rule that prohibits the use of drones in national parks, unless they are being used for specific purposes such as search and rescue, scientific study, or fire management. Even in these cases, drones can only be used with permission from the park manager and by following certain rules and standards. 😊 1 Quote
