Hi, I don’t want to buy a single family house. I will be living alone for an year or two, family will join later.

Can I buy a small apartment and rent it out in future ?

Are there any such options ?

Idhe surprising ga undhi. Hidden costs such as maintainence fee, Property taxes, insurance  plus uncertainty of living in US (visa status/job stability), realtor brokerage if they were to sell, or brokerage to maintain the property when you're out of US ilantivi anni account chesukovatledu. Only blind sheep thinking Real Estate = UP^^ UP^^

ledu bro something is missing in his story...family lekapothe people will think of saving money until family comes back...here he is looking to spend more money by buying apartment where he has to pay mortgage, insurance, property tax, maintenance, HOA etc... which is waste expenditure..

baa go and share a nice room in a single family house.

Use this money little and go for vacations and stay in high end rooms. Or go to Remote places like montana , idhao , new hamshire, key west, alaska.

No point in buying at this time.

Good problem to have since you have the flexibility.

Keep it very simple and flexible ante : Rent a place, or an ADU, or you rent an apartment and find a roommate. Kaasta pricey but no hassle.

Inkoncham manage chese opika unte - buy a townhome in a good school district, rent by the room to others on a month to month lease. Do it the legit way like leases and all so you dont get stuck in a muddy cycle with a bad tenant/roommate. Allows you to house hack and a nice soft entry. To keep the house in good shape, include cleaning services, do month to month rent, include utilities and charge a premium rent. This will ensure your property is taken care of better and you avoid bad tenant pool. Lease lo pakka occupancy rules pettandi. Desi batch have friends and all coming and staying for the weekend. I would iron clad it to safeguard your place.

Ila kooda kaadu aggressive mode ante - buy a house near a university and rent by the room. You get more money but that comes at the cost of higher traffic, poor maintenance etc.
