There are 2 options 

1)Want TDP to loose this election because they can occupy the opposition status - Pk dint prefer this option but BJP prefers this option

2)Want YCP to loose this election - So that they can get to power - PK prefers this option.

The 1st option could have done wonders strategically to PK in long term, JSP could have emerged as the main opposition by 2029

The 2nd option would give short term strength to the party and the party will emerge but not at the level as 1st option

But had to say PK did more than he can do for this alliance. he dint take advantage when cbn was in jail and he dint take advantage with the seat sharing even though tdp is in such a position it desperately needs alliance
