How much do health insurance for parents cost once they become US citizens ? I'm planning to apply citizenship for my parents and wondering how much health insurance will be for parents who are 70+ ?

did they ever work in US before ?

if they worked for 10 years then they are eligible for Medicare ...

if not buy insurance ... probably 4-500 each ...

But it is confined only to the particular state they live in. If u opt to ho to the medicaid route - I think it will be medicaid part a and d where you have to buy in and also pay a penalty for not enrolling @ 65
