25-Year-Old Ghaziabad Man Dies Of Heart Attack After Visiting Delhi Zoo, Shocked Wife Jumps To Death

Newlyweds Abhishek Ahluwalia and Anjali started their day on Monday on a cheerful note with a visit to Delhi Zoo. However, the fateful outing altered the course of their life, and in less than 24 hours both were dead. While 25-year-old Abhishek reportedly died of a heart attack, his wife Anjali succumbed to her injuries after jumping from the seventh floor of their apartment in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad.

Abhishek and Anjali (22) got married on November 30 last year, according to a report by NDTV.

On Monday, the couple was visiting the Zoo in Delhi when Abhishek, a property dealer, started feeling pain in his chest.

A panicked Anjali immediately contacted their family and friends, following which Abhishek was taken to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, where the doctors referred him to Safdarjung Hospital.

At Safdarjung, doctors declared Abhishek brought dead and identified heart attack as the cause of his death.

The young man’s body was taken to the young couple’s home at Ahlcon Apartments in Ghaziabad’s Vaishali around 9 pm.

A distraught Anjali sat next to her husband’s body for some time before suddenly rushing to the balcony and jumping from the seventh floor, according to a report by India Today.

Anjali, a resident of Karawal Nagar in northeast Delhi, was immediately rushed to Max Hospital, from where she was referred to AIIMS.
