Doubt regarding external hard disk

I buyed western digital 1TB hard disk 3 months back mamalu but now its not switching on. In this am having 300GB files, am having 5 yr warranty period but i don want to loose those files. em cheiyaali give some suggestions  sCo_hmmthink

Ask for WD helpdesk, try to trouble shoot, tap it gently 1 or 2 taps very gently. if nothing works ask for a replacement under warranty and data recovery, tell them the data is very crucial 4 ur job etc etc

external HD ithey okasari verey evadi daggara ayina cables untey try cheyyi..  for WD cables are always a headache..

so just try if possible,..

try using a diff set of USB cable and also a diff Power cable to if possible in case of Requirement...
