Which travel credit card is best

Recommended Posts

I have two international trips coming up in the next 3-4 months. Both with family. Which travel credit card is best to apply now? I have a top credit score so approval will not be hard is what I'm assuming.

capital one venture x

its a visa card so widely accepted across the world. also you can add your wife as a member on your card and she will get a card with a different number (linked to the same account)

you both can get priority pass access and take your kids into the lounge along. Its really useful while travelling.

Annual fee $395 , but you will get $300 back for travel that you book from Capital One portal..

If you want a referral, let me know bro

I have the capital one venture x. good card and decent benefits. But to get the max points out of travel category, they ask you to book on their portal. Given a choice i would prefer to book direct from the airlines websites. Ofcourse capital one does a price match. Still in terms of needs like rescheduling flights etc, always easier if you would have directly booked with airlines rather than these portals.

Other than the above, no significant drawbacks with this card that i can think of. You get a 300$ travel credit back, and 10k points on one year anniversary of being a card holder.
