TOGAF certification .. Is it worth it for senior devs and want to enter architect roles.. if not, pls suggest any other courses or paths ?

TOGAF is outdated now, except for few traditional companies no one even asks for that.

best way is senior dev --> principal /tech lead.

Tech lead role will be most important role going forward.

Getting TOGAF certified can definitely be a good move for senior developers looking to step into architect roles. It helps bridge the gap between development and architecture, giving you a solid framework to work with. I went through a similar transition and found that the knowledge I gained from TOGAF really helped in understanding how to align tech with business goals. If you're looking for other paths, consider exploring courses on cloud architecture or specific technologies that your target companies use. Those can be super valuable, too. Also, the TOGAF course at https://www.advisedskills.com/enterprise-architecture/togaf-ea-foundation-and-practitioner-level-1-and-2 is a great resource if you decide to go that route.
