CBN and PK who spit fire on Volunteer System until few weeks ago with various allegations appear to have taken U Turn in recent days. They are singing praises and also said Volunteer system will remain in place. You both Endorsed The Brain Child scheme of Jagan.

I remember cbn complaining about volunteers that they are going and knocking the doors when men are not present during day time.

CBN complains and then copies the same system. Let it be Fee Reimbursement, Free Currenr, Arogya Sri, 108 etc, he just copies them into his next manifesto. Now watch how he builds the 2024 manifesto with modifications to Jagan’s schemes, lifted schemes from TG/KA, then throw in “All free Babu” type cherries on top.

TDP helped the election commission with clear guidelines if they had to utilize volunteers for election duty. Volunteers will help YCP more when they are outside than in election booths. Most of the time, these volunteers are family members sarpanches, ward members, counselors, ration shop dealers, AP online etc. who directly participate in and influence elections. It's a big network.

Personally don’t think Volunteers can influence an election on the day of election. People will vote who they want to since this is a secret ballot. TDP is afraid and hence approached court to completely remove them from election duties. Good at least TDP doesn’t have to blame volunteers if they lose the election. Now just EVMs are left.

that's why they are banned during elections. if they involved in any form of campaigns that may make them in eligible for future GOVT posts especially if the oppn parties file criminal cases during this period. Only One FIR is needed for it.
