Ok. Even then 45k to 39k price difference is not that much to consider used one over new one.

Tax credit ki 2 conditions -

Income Married filing jointly should be below 300,000

The car value should not cross 80,000

If both criteria is satisfied...

The tax credit of 7.5K is given at the time of purchase.

If the car is 50K then,

50,000 - 7500 tax credit = 42,500 + Sales Tax...33mtnj.gif

Bought for 58K on road one year ago. Now selling it for 39K

If I go for a new inventory one, I will get it for 45K (Of course not the same color though). Less federal credit plus tax would be at 41K+

Will the prices likely to go down eventually or go up ? Is it a good idea ?

Why do you want to buy same car again new one? Too much hassle
