Yeah stupid process..ma vadu jara lucky..false 498A filed by raakasi atta..but later on ammayi mutual ki agreed and filed for divorce in US..we dint lose much apart from some gold and $4K money..

but US lo attonery fees vaachipoyayi..roughly $12K ayi untadi but 6 months lo all done

these days politicians (tdp) formed cartel with NRIs(from NATA) and local politicians and target vulnerable families and through networking phishing them to marriage trap and after sometime start this false cases to loot money from single NRIs in US

Correct it is happening for my cousin. MCD lo divrc ayyindi but she is not lifting calls to close 498. Visa kosam trying ani telsi ma vadi lawyer magistrate levl lo lacs rupylu asking. High court quash este aipoyaedi lawyer was dragging. I guess he is planning to approach another lawyer direct quash veskotaniki

Go for settlement vaa .. Now days lawyers on both sides are dragging the cases like anything especially for Software engineers and NRI's they found easy money in this segment. Some times these fellows are giving advise to their ex-party's to demand more money.

demanded 2cr but after 5 years of struggle , settling for 1cr.

during this time I stayed in India until MOU signed for divorce and money settlement through court.

DD presented in front of judge and filed " not pressing charges" for all false cases filed.
