Revantham is just adopting Jagan strategy. This will initially give him good PR. Then Revantham will also deal with Malla Reddy and they join Congress and his son/son-in-law/daughter in law will be given a ticket.

I see this as a political action for upcoming elections.

Malkajgiri turned out to be hot and prestigious seat for both congress and BJP now. Later Malla Reddy clarified that they do not have any plans to contest MP elections. May be an an attempt to side the TRS party in Malkjagiri.
