TDP and TRS are based on the same regional ideology and are mostly based on similar interests. They have the same vote bank (lower to upper middle class). In comparison, Congress and YCP have more similar ideology (catering minorities). BJP/TRS/TDP are similar in that sense.

Linguistic party doesn't mean what you try to imply. Nonetheless, What exactly did TDP do for Telugu language? Or what politics did it do  based on Telugu language? TDP is a regional party modeled after Congress party run by a ex Congress man.
