Working on taxes  with beyond refund. They are saying we can use p527 IRS rental loss publication and reduce the amount we owe to federal. India lo property meeda rental losses unnai etc ani 27,700$ ( filing jointly) standard deduction lo chupiyyachu antunnaru. Anyone did this ?

 

they are saying it’s applicable to any foreign rental property.

they said

maitrnance and repair and 

6 month that property was not rented 

rental loss + maintenance/repairs

 

this is standard deduction 

so documentation not needed

If Audit aithey

we can provide the maintenance proofs etc ani antunnaru

Don’t care about irs…they can’t scratch Indians… it is Indian revenue system..if you are financially struggling. Put some fake documents and submit it

I though the same “ Beyond refund” tax consulting company name. I got similar thing from another tax consultant. 
And they want me to pay 1000$ for documentation
