uncle what are you talking ? there will always be 100 reasons to support a thing . just say north facing is better , people come with 100 reasons why north facing is better . same with north and south . 

the current houses are not like how they used to be in India . you may have woods or another big building cover sunlight .

if you can't accept it is our paithyam , that is ok

Tamilians prefer south facing homes. Mana kanna ekkuva poojale chestharu vallu, daanikem chepthav.

Just asking, asalu ikkada houses lo front nunchi sunlight intlo padthada...most of the homes r designed with ventilation coming from back...master bed or living room/kitchen
