RSS to press for Narendra Modi as next BJP chief

Is Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi the next BJP chief? At least this is the opinion of a majority section within the RSS which wants Mr Modi, a Hindutva icon, to play a major role in the 2014 general elections.

Unhappy with the BJP’s performance in the recent past and miffed with the infighting in the party, the Sangh is of the view that someone with Modi’s “managerial skill” can help the BJP in not only putting its house in order but also consolidate its lost Hindu votes. The RSS, it was learnt, is also unhappy with BJP chief Nitin Gadkari’s performance who completed one year since his appointment to the top post.

The Sangh is of the view that Mr Modi, who not only helped his party win in Muslim dominated areas in Gujarat but also “successfully” put a check on infighting in the party’s state unit, can bring back the BJP’s its “old glory.” The RSS top leadership, it was learnt, discussed this issue at the Sangh’s executive meeting in Jalgaon.

[size=14pt][color=red]Sources disclosed after the Gujarat Assembly polls in 2012, Mr Modi would be brought in at the central level as the RSS wants him to “re-energise” the party as well as its cadre.[/color][/size]

Sources disclosed the Sangh is also unhappy with the ongoing power struggle in the BJP, which it feels is sending a wrong message among party cadre.
The RSS feels that instead of the organisational structure getting strengthened, the recent developments in the party, including one-upmanship between two senior leaders, has dented the party’s image, sources said.

once again all the forces against congress combine with BJP to form a Coalition to make Modi as PM ..

and another thing id Pushing him into Publicity against current Members of Parliament from Congress instead of against local MLA's across India..

There can be some chances if they start using his face as early as possible.

There were a lot of MP's from Congress , who don;t even show once in 2 -3 months in their constituency ..  except staying in Delhi and doing their own businesses..

Modi is by far the most popular CM in India....... He has the most national media coverage than any other CM in India.

BJP should project Modi as the next PM candidate.......... lekapothe M gudusipovatam sure.......... Sushma Swaraj will be a disaster to the party and she have no guts, no popular base and not a proven leader most importantly.

If any one asks what eligibility does Modi have to be the next PM of India............ He can show the country thousands of proofs how he transformed Gujarat into an industrial and best investment friendly destination of India.

Where as Sushma Swaraj who is from Madhya Pradesh has no such of a kind........ sHa_fr1ends sHa_fr1ends

There wil be issues here and there yaar...

But still as they need  win across the whole nation, they need someone like Modi who was a Proven Leader rather than just being a Normal Politician..
and he has some Good progress card from Gujarat in any form ofElection and he has good support from Foreign NRI investaors in all parts of the coutry , that wil surely help BJP in som many fields and the BJP seniors need to soothe the relationship btwn these leaders on issues like the BIhar thing.....
