Actress Arundhathi Nair on Ventilator After Horrifying Road Accident: 'She's Fighting for Her Life'

Tamil and Malayalam film actress Arundhati Nair is on ventilator after she met with an accident in Kerala. Her sister Arathy confirmed the news after multiple reports claimed to have details about her accident. Taking to her Instagram account, Arathy issued a statement about the accident and urged fans to pray for her. The accident reportedly took place at the Kovalam bypass and Arundhati has suffered head injuries. She was travelling with her brother. 

“We felt the need to clarify the news reported in Tamil Nadu’s newspapers and television channels. It is true that my sister Arundhathi Nair had an accident three days ago, (sic)” Arathy said in a post. “She is critically injured and fighting for her life while being kept on a ventilator at the Ananthapuri Hospital in Trivandrum,” the actress’s sister added. Arathy shared the post with the caption, “We Need your prayers and Support for her speery recovery.”

Many social media users took to the comments section and sent their prayers to Arundhati and the family. “Get Well soon,” a comment read. “Ayyo really sad to see this . May god give her the strength to recover soon. ,” added another. “Dear fans and people’s please pray for her speedy recovery and also make an Pooja in the name of @arundhathi.nair_ in each and every temples and light and agal dheepam✨,” a social media user wrote.
