Why Telugu heroes take so long to complete one film?

Some of these heroes take 2 years to complete a film. In the end, the film is subpar because it relies too much on mass BGM and hero elevations. Back then, Annagoru, Krishna, and Siranjeevi were superstars of their era. But they completed multiple films in 1 year.

i would say too much market rolling on them nowadays and directors midha blame chesta. maa rt laaga movies thisthu povachu but they are afraid of their market anipisthadi.

appatlo no grapics, now vfx and star casting, high budgets, outdoor locations, etc etc..small scale movies still lottery type, its all about risk now, + competetion, and story selection - which will suffice a,b, c centers...not so easy for any hero...

they figured they can make 100C by releasing 1 movie in one year by overhyping a mediocre product, showing high budget (fake), shoot when the rest of the artists were available (because they don't pay them much in the name of big hero movie - its a fact) and waiting for a perfect release date. 

actual effort and shooting remain the same - shooting days are the same. go figure.

Now a days small budget and new actors are performing well than so called big heros.

Web series Hindi are so much better than Telugu big hero movies.

One more thing is telugu films lo % for Hero remuneration chala ekkuva untundi. Maybe except for Rajamouli film where they spend more on graphics/vfx/sets ledu ante Guntur Karam lanti movie lo hero salary will be 60% of movie budget. Rs 100 movie budget aiyte I guess Rs 60 Mahesh Babu bank account lo. Inka papam vere technicians ki peanuts koda ravu.

I think producers and big heroes all think and believe they just need to satisfy the fans. See the interview with barbell and sitara producer ... 1.5 hour interview.... they are all ( I'm combining all ) because he clearly says fans, fans, no logic, don't question big heroes, just watch etc.. he didn't care about quality or fresh content or anything... kept saying if fans liked it and "people watched " ( who are forced in theatre) or OTT is hit ( everyone will watch to see how bad it is when it comes to a big hero movie) what's your problem.......

Content kosam aithe we have lots n lots of small budget films + Mallu films + lots of INternational films dubbed in telugu in OTT's.......so no need to complain abt content....regular audience (a.k.a fans) too know this, they just want to see their hero's performing over the top scenes anthe.......adi workout aithe challu vallaki.

Hollywood lo kuda logic less action scenes, high budget movies vasthuntai....they know they have audience across globe who likes to watch it...so Telugu movies okkate kaadu, this is across all language's throughout world

Take Mallu wood.....they like to see Allu Arjun films, Tamil hero Vijay's films etc...which are heavily mass oriented. 

Vallaki valla own movies chusi chusi...too much content oriented nundi distraction kosam ilanti masala movies chustharu.

Forget abt them....maname regular ga content based chusuthama? oka point tharuvatha we get bored...we shift to different genres and different style of movies.
