Its a huge nexus of network Samara, happening in the UK since the time I came here - around 2008:

King Pin Main --> A group of managers at banks like Halifax, Lloyds, Santander and tens of other tier-2 banks (HSBC & Barclays do not do this at least AFAIK)

Clients Who --> Our desi junta (mainly students who leave UK for ever and other professionals who do not want to return)

Brokers Who--> Used to be Gujjus, but our Telugu Tejams and some Nigerians replaced them. They spread all over with EastHam in London as base location.

Process What? --> based on what ever credit history, a broker approches the client (or vice-versa) and client submits all identification, including credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts and password. The broker goes to King Pins at all banks on the SAME DAY, thats most important -- SAME DAY because credit history takes a day to reflect-- so all Kingpins at as many banks will : issue Personal loan, top-up credit card balance by 20k GBP or 30k or whatever max possible, plus car loans, plus laptops, plus iPhones, plus insurance claims ... pretty much every form of LOAN

What will client get? -->  fate decides. Some may get around 20k-30k GBP before they check-in to the flight. Some get ZERO, yes. Some get a decent amount of around 50k and cannot come back and open any bank account .

What will King Pin get? --> A fixed contract amount but because they operate on huge numbers, there is no limit to their earning

What will Broker get? --> Pretty much everything after the above two amounts. On a single student application, a total loan value of £300k-£500k can availed. And you can imagine how much they get.

Thats the story in simplest form.

anta bagane undi.. why do they need brokers for this? to maximize the profit? US lo chestaru.. but its limited to the guys credit cards... they max out and leave

Its hard for students to get even a over-draft of £1000 under normal and fair circumstances. This brokers facilitate max out. Also King Pins cannot and should not directly involve..thats the catch.

And that SAME DAY principle..so someone should be there to synchronise.

Almost all sorts of loans on a VERY SINGLE DAY..

This might be an isolated and different case. Things happening under the shadow of this nexus - are impossible to trace. Yeah probably those two banks - HSBC & Barclays. They have a strong presence in India and will not leave you.
